Thanks for visiting! Sands is a complete
webcomic that I began in late November 2004 and finished in early
January 2005. I did this mostly to practice my drawing, publishing
it page by page on my
Deviantart page. To my surprise, it became a lot more
popular than I expected; I was encouraged, and what was meant to be a short
project turned out to span 50 pages. Even then there were comments
that it was too short and ended too abruptly.
So in May 2005, partly to bring the story to its
full potential (as I see it, anyway) and also to clean out my
gallery at Deviantart, I decided to make an actual site for Duane
and company. This is the site you see now. The comic presented
here has been modified from its original 50 pages and
expanded to include more of Sarah's point of view. I hope it is
less confusing now!
